About Diwali
Diwali is the biggest and brightest festival celebrated by the Hindus.Diwali is celebrated for consecutive 4 days and all this 4 days are celebrated with full of joy and happiness and doing worship of
Laxmi Mata.
As we mentioned that it is biggest festival celebrated in India then it is obvious that it is from one of the most awaited also and this year 2015 Diwali is going to be celebrated 11th
November 2015 i.e. on Sunday.
Diwali or Deepwali is celebrated all across India and in all different states it is written in different ways.So why not know those name before knowing more about Deepwali.

There is a very long story behind the Diwali or Deepawali and in India it has been celebrated for the various reasons and all the castes celebrate it for their very own reason.In some parts of India it is celebrate has the occasion of
marriage of Lakshmi with Lord Vishnu.In West Bengal it is celebrated due to reason worship of
Mother Kali, the dark goddess of strength.In Jainism it is celebrated for great event of
Lord Mahavira attaining the eternal bliss of nirvana but from all of this main reason behind celebrating Diwali in Hindu is to celebrate the return of Lord Rama along with the Sita and Lakshman from his fourteen year long exile and vanquishing the demon-king Ravana.On this day whole Ayodhya was celebrating it like a hell has their king was back and whole Ayodhya was decorated with light lamps and every one was burning crackers,singing songs and celebrating their happiness in their very own way.
Their is a public holiday for continues 4 days and every one goes out for the shopping,some one goes to their villages to celebrate Diwali with their family and some become busy in making money.Yes you heard right money has on the occasion of Diwali every one get's bonus and they all go out to spend it to bring some useful products for their use and for their family use as well.
Four Days Celebration
As we mentioned above about diwali that it is celebrated for about 4 days and all the 4 days have different celebration.Let's know about those celebrations ;-
First Day:- The very first day tell about the Naraka Chaturdasi marks the vanquishing of the demon Naraka by Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama.
Second Day:- Now,after celebrating first day,it come to the third day i.e.
Amavasya on very this day every one worships Maa Lakshmi which is known as goddess of wealth and every one wish them to make them rich and fill their lockers with some hard money.And this day is also known as
Dhanteras it is said that any thing purchased on this day is very luck and brings a lot of happiness to that house and that's the reason every one goes out to purchase various products such as Electronic goods,cloths and mainly people goes with purchase of Gold and Silver.
Third Day:- On this day Kartika Shudda Padyami that Bali steps out of hell and rules the earth according to the boon given by Lord Vishnu.
Fourth Day:- This day is also know as day of Bhai Doj in this every brother goes to his sister house and they celebrate like Rakshan Bhandan only.
